Dr. med. Michalzik's Vegan Safe Omega-3 contains ultra-pure microalgae oil, which is rich in DHA and EPA. Many plant-based omega-3 products usually contain only DHA. Vegan Safe Omega-3 provides 390–780 mg DHA and additionally 150–300 mg EPA per daily dose.

In addition to DHA and EPA, algae oil contains other omega-3 fatty acids. This results in a total of 570 mg of plant-based omega-3 fatty acids per capsule.

A plant-based alternative containing both DHA and essential EPA has long been sought. Vegan Safe Omega-3 from the microalga Schizochytrium offers both DHA and EPA in high concentration.

DHA and EPA contribute to the maintenance of normal heart function. This effect is achieved with a daily intake of 250 mg DHA and EPA.

Vegan Safe Omega-3 by Dr. med. Michalzik is subject to strict control by German authorities. Manufactured using gentle production technologies without heat and without processing aids – not even those that do not have to be declared on packaging.

No silicon dioxide anti-caking agent
Biotikon does not use silicon dioxide (SiO₂, E551) as a flow agent. Stiftung Warentest notes that such products may contain nanoparticles. The use of silicon dioxide in supplements is therefore discouraged. Bio Suisse has revoked approval for its use.

No aluminum!
Many supplement providers use aluminum foil for sealing. This so-called induction sealing involves heating an aluminum layer using high-frequency electromagnetic fields. We deliberately avoid this method!

No talc!
Talc, used in tablets and capsules as a separating agent, may contain asbestos fibers. Biotikon completely avoids separating and lubricating agents in capsule production.
